2004 Engelbert was made Patron of the County Air Ambulance Foundation and was honoured with a helicopter bearing his name as a thank you for his ongoing contributions and support.
2006 Engelbert was bestowed the Doctor of Music Degree from the University of Leicester formally allowing him the title of Dr. Engelbert Humperdinck.
